How do we protect your data?

We use state-of-the-art encryption to protect your credit card/personal information. You can place orders using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.

Digital certificates encrypt data using SSL technology, an industry-standard method for protecting Web communications. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for TCP/IP connections. Since SSL is built into all major browsers and Web servers, you only need to install a digital certificate to enable its SSL functionality.

SSL comes in two strengths, 40-bit and 128-bit, which refers to the length of the "session key" that is generated for each encrypted transaction. The longer the key, the more difficult it is to crack the encryption code. We use 128-bit encryption. Most browsers support 128-bit SSL sessions, which are trillions of times more powerful than 40-bit sessions.

Who is Cyber​​Source?

We chose Cyber​​Source as our partner for our secure server software. They are a leading online business payment system provider. For more information about Cyber​​Source, please visit their website at https://cybersource.com. The Cyber​​Source software resides behind a corporate firewall. Access to this machine is strictly controlled to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data. Once your credit card details are passed to us, they are stored in an encrypted format on the Cyber​​Source servers.

Are transactions real-time?

All credit card transactions are completed in real-time. As soon as you confirm your order, we will contact our payment service provider to verify the card and amount in order to obtain authorization before completing the order. Once your order is confirmed and we have accepted all custom shirts, we will sign a binding contract when they are shipped from our warehouse.

Do you check for fraudulent cards?

When we receive your credit card details, an online check is performed on your credit card with the acquiring bank. This process ensures that the number you enter actually corresponds to a real credit card number and not a fake card. The Cyber​​Source system will also check various "hot card lists" to ensure that no credit cards have been used fraudulently. Your details are verified online over a secure line with your bank. Credit card data is never sent over the Internet through the verification process. We will also carry out random security checks on your card to ensure fraud prevention - please note that we have no intention of causing you any harm if the system chooses to carry out random checks on your card.

What else can I do to ensure my details are safe?

The second way to ensure you have a secure connection is to look for the GlobalSign logo or the RSA Data Security logo and only buy from merchants you know and trust. Again, digital certificates are important. As well as encrypting the data you send over the internet, certificates can be used to confirm and authenticate the identity of the website owner (in this case, the merchant). As digital certificates act as electronic signatures and cannot be forged, if RSA DATA SECURITY INC. or GlobalSign Inc. has issued the certificate, you can be sure the connection is secure.
